Feature

Autopilot

Define a topic once. It posts about it every day, on its own.

Autopilot researches a trending item from a real source — GitHub's trending repositories, the news by category or keyword, or any RSS/Atom feed you point it at — drafts a post about it with AI, and publishes it to your chosen platforms with no review step. Set how many posts a day and which days of the week it's allowed to run. It's the one feature in Landio that runs without you: those caps and an automatic pause after repeated failures keep it from spamming or silently breaking.

  • Real trending sources: GitHub's Search API (created-recently, ranked by stars), NewsAPI by category or keyword, or any RSS/Atom feed
  • Fully autonomous — no draft sits waiting for approval, unlike every other AI feature in Landio
  • Configurable posts-per-day (1-5) and which days of the week it's allowed to run, to as many connected accounts as you choose
  • Auto-pauses itself after 3 consecutive failed runs and notifies you, rather than failing silently forever

How it works

Autopilot in three steps

1

Create a named rule

Pick a trending source (GitHub Trending, News, or an RSS feed URL), a category, keyword, or feed, which connected accounts it should post to, and how many posts per day and on which days.

2

It researches and drafts automatically

On each eligible day, Autopilot fetches trending items it hasn't used before and generates a post about each one in your brand voice.

3

It publishes immediately

No approval step — the post goes live right away. If a run fails three times in a row, the rule pauses itself and you're notified.

Questions about autopilot

Does someone review the post before it goes out?+

No — this is the one feature in Landio that publishes without a human step, by design. Every other AI feature (Content Studio, Inbox replies) waits for you; Autopilot doesn't.

What if it picks something embarrassing or off-brand?+

It can, since nothing reviews it first — that's the tradeoff of full automation. If a rule is producing bad results, pause or delete it from the Autopilot page at any time.

What happens if the trending source or AI provider fails?+

The rule records the failure and retries the next day. After 3 consecutive failed days, it automatically pauses itself and notifies you, rather than failing forever unnoticed.

Which plans include Autopilot?+

Starter and above — see the pricing page for exact rule limits per tier.

Can I use my own blog or a niche site as the source instead of GitHub or NewsAPI?+

Yes — point a rule at any RSS or Atom feed URL and Autopilot will draft posts from that feed's items instead, no API key required.
